Greetings, Antique Tractor Folks!

You’re invited! Agrotours is planning a 4^th big tractor tour! This time we are featuring England and the Republic of Ireland for July 2009. Earlier tours to Scotland/England, Netherlands/Germany and France/Switzerland were very successful and sold out to capacity early in the season. The 2009 tour promises to be just as good!

Over the past several years, in operating agricultural tours for clients to Ireland, I’ve found a number of great collections and enthusiastic, friendly tractor folk in that beautiful Emerald Isle! I’d like to share the culture and traditions of Ireland, the exquisite rural scenery, the green fields of grazing sheep and cows, and most of all the friendly Irish and their superb tractor collections and great clubs!

We plan to start our tour in London, England, and then work our way over to Bromyard to spend a day at their annual Country Show and Steam Rally, followed by a stop to inspect a private collection in Wales before boarding our Irish Sea Ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare in Ireland.

Then the fun begins in Ireland, with castles to see, villages to shop in, unbelievable landscapes on our day tour of the Ring of Kerry, a BBQ with members of the Kerry Vintage Tractor Club, sightseeing in Dublin – St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College’s famed Book of Kells!  And, much more…..!
